Social Responsibility
What is Social Responsibilty.
Social responsibility is a concept that is largely understood as part of the corporate world. A good example is where the large oil companies claim to mitigate their wealth and profits by producing green energy investments and supporting education in areas where they mine.
But Social responsibility is not only a corporate issue. It is one for each and every one of us. There is almost always someone that is worse off than we are. While I am enriched with a large family and we generally form an excellent support network, for each other, there are many others who have no family ties and have to get through life alone. I consider it my social responsibility to share the time, love and resources that my family has to ease the suffering of others with no family at all.
Inviting a lonely person in the community for Sunday lunch is a very small way to include a person that doesnt have a resource that you do in terms of family connections, and feeding one more person rarely brings financial harm when youve cooked for five or six people.

Good social responsibility as individuals is the doing of the small things collectively that will make a big difference as acumulative effect. This is illustrated when people across the globe turn off their lights all at the same time as an effort to highlight the suffering of our planet earth and bring an understanding that saving the planet is a collective responsibility.
When we take responsibilty collectively the outcome is effective.

Every one of us has absolute responsibility for the present. We also hold responsibility for the future that will transpire as a result of the present that we are creating
We are responsible for our children, their present experience and also their future. What we do for and to them now and the future consequences of todays actions are our responsibility. Quis autem vel eum iure reprehenderit qui in ea voluptate velit esse quam nihil molestiae consequatur, vel illum.
